Masters Edition 3 Contest

For those who are unaware, I have recently been writing for Examiner.com as the Magic: the Gathering Examiner.  You may view my index of articles here.

In celebration of Masters Edition 3, I am personally holding a free contest for some free Masters Edition 3 cards, including both the Zodiac Dragon and Stanng avatars that were available exclusively during release events.

To enter, read my Masters Edition 3 limited series:
the top ten commons in ME3 limited
the top ten uncommons in ME3 limited
the top ten rares in ME3 limited

Make sure that you subscribe to my Examiner.com articles by clicking on the subscribe icon on the top of one of the articles, entering your email address, then clicking submit.

After reading the three articles, come back here to Alluring Ertai and leave a comment with your favorite common, uncommon, and rare to play with in Masters Edition 3 limited.  Be sure to leave your Magic Online user name and email address in your comment.

On Monday October 19th, I will use Random.org to pick a winner, and announce the winner here on my blog and then contact them in game to pick up their prize.

  3. Common - Ghostly Visit
Uncommon - Ashes to Ashes (played in 7 sealed events and this is only uncommon I never got)
Rare - Karakas (this thing is overpowered and many dont know how great it is, 5-6th in a draft once)

  5. My favorite common to play with from ME3 has to be Force Spike. Spiking a 2-drop on the draw is among the most satisfying feelings you can have with an island in play.

My favorite uncommon is probably Bartel Runeaxe. I don't think I've used a Bartel since about 1995, but back then he was among my favorite. Of course this was back when Control Magic was in half the decks, so his ability was actually relevant.

And my favorite rare, of course, is Mana Drain. It does't get better than that.
